After the success of the first Great British Salsa Experience (GBSEx) held last November in Manchester Town Hall, the event will return in November 2009.  Once again the Manchester’s magnificent, gothic Town Hall will hold a weekend of workshops, lectures, late night parties and World record attempts. 

2008 Review

The DWP team were all heavily involved in the first GBSEx in November 2008.  Jason and Shemayne held the first workshop, Rohan did a fantastic job hosting the evening shows and amongst many other things DJ Barry helped keep the music playing.  A member of the DWP adult formation team just missed out on breaking the existing World record for the number of spins in a minute.  However, a new World record was set of 125 spins by Lisa from Con Tambor and Giles from Ignite.  The video of this can be seen at http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Jbg9bLPVbm8
