Jason and Shemayne were asked to take part in the BBC1's Strictly Come Dancing event for the Children in Need charity in November 2006.

Jason and Shemayne were given two celebrity presenters from the BBC1 North West Tonight programme and had six hours to train them to dance a cha cha cha routine on the set of Strictly Come Dancing in London. |

The BBC viewers voted for Jason to dance with weather girl Dianne Oxberry and Shemayne to dance with sports presenter Tony Livesey.
Both presenters worked very hard and danced amazingly well on the TV set of Strictly Come Dancing considering the added pressure of all the professional couples from the program watching them.

The public got behind their favourite and voted in their thousands. All the proceeds from the phone votes went to the Children in Need charity.
